Gloria Cannon is an associate attorney* handling a variety of personal injury matters. While she’s a recent addition to her current role, she worked with Scott Perry at our Northern Virginia law office as a clerk for the last four years, while attending law school.

A Michigan native, Gloria fell in love with the Northern Virginia and D.C. area when she moved here for college, ultimately receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration from the George Washington University School of Business.

Gloria next attended and graduated summa cum laude from the University of the District of Columbia School of Law. During law school, Gloria participated in the National Family Law Moot Court Competition and received the UDC David A. Clarke School of Law Continuing Scholars Award, the Cafritz Foundation Merit Scholarship, and the Eleanor Holmes Norton Legacy Scholarship.

Before joining the firm, Gloria worked as a legal extern for D.C.’s Government Accountability Project, where she drafted case summaries, congressional briefing packets, and Freedom of Information Act requests.

She also has experience as a content manager and website designer—and in 2015, while working at the Institute for Justice, Gloria published an op-ed about criminal penalties for low-level offenders in The Washington Times.

In her free time, Gloria has a passion for travel and has visited more than 34 countries. On one recent trip to Dubai, she married her husband—with fellow Breit Biniazan associate attorney Anastasia Uzilevskaya officiating the ceremony! Gloria and her husband currently reside in DC.
