Breit Biniazan attorneys Jeffrey Breit and Don Scott have both been featured in Virginia Business’ 2026 Virginia 500, an annual list highlighting leaders from across the Commonwealth.
The Virginia 500 recognizes people across business, law, government, education and other industries throughout Virginia. This year, Jeffrey was featured in the Law category, while Don was featured in Government & Politics.
As co-founder and partner of Breit Biniazan, Jeffrey Breit has built his career representing people in complex, high-stakes personal injury cases. He served on the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee for the BP Deepwater Horizon litigation, where he oversaw the case against Halliburton, and represented plaintiffs in the nationwide Chinese drywall litigation. More recently, Jeffrey Breit was part of the legal team representing Newport News teacher Abby Zwerner, whose case resulted in a $10 million jury verdict in November 2025.
Don L. Scott Jr., a partner at Breit Biniazan, was recognized for his work in government and public service. Don L. Scott Jr. serves as Speaker of the Virginia House of Delegates, representing Portsmouth. He was first elected to the House in 2019 and became Speaker in 2024.
