On September 27, 2024, a Richmond Circuit Court jury delivered a groundbreaking $360 million verdict in a civil trial against Cumberland Hospital and its former medical director, Daniel Davidow. After just seven hours of deliberation, the jury awarded:
The jury found that Davidow sexually abused each plaintiff under the guise of femoral pulse exams and that Cumberland Hospital failed to protect the children in its care.
