Trip and Fall
Plaintiff, a 74-year-old man was shopping at Downtown Records in Danville, Virginia. After requesting to use the restroom, Plaintiff was directed toward a back storage room. The storage room was unlit, causing Plaintiff to trip on a single low step. Plaintiff sustained a right proximal humerus fracture that required surgery. Post-surgery, Plaintiff suffered a perioperative stroke.
