In September 2024, a Richmond jury unanimously returned a verdict of $360 million in favor of three survivors, setting a powerful precedent for justice and accountability. A second trial is scheduled for October, with additional trials planned into 2026.

Reflecting on the case, Kevin shared:

“I consider it probably the most influential or the most significant case that I’ve handled because it really started with nothing. You know, it was a situation in which many, if not all of my clients had gone years trying to voice their complaints and concerns about the facility and the doctor and their experiences and they never really gained traction and for whatever coincidental or fortuitous reason, hopefully for them and for me, our paths crossed in February of 2020,”
