Alexis Boumstein has always carried a sense of passionate advocacy for justice, dedication and
empathy.

After completing a degree in Sociology, Legal Studies, and Criminal Justice from the University of
Wisconsin-Madison in 2016, Alexis embarked on a journey to pursue a lifelong aspiration of
becoming a lawyer. Graduating cum laude from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law in 2020,
Alexis immersed herself in the study of law with a strong focus on civil litigation.

It was during her formative years in high school that her desire to become an attorney began.
Witnessing a close friend’s struggle with sexual assault and the lack of support available in the legal
system inspired her to step forward and become a voice for those who could not advocate for
themselves. Recognizing the need for robust victim advocacy programs, Alexis embarked on a path
to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by such traumatic experiences.

In law school, Alexis further honed her advocacy skills and discovered her calling in civil litigation.
After completing her Juris Doctor, she joined a prominent plaintiff’s firm, dedicating herself to
representing individuals catastrophically injured in car accidents and victims of medical negligence.
Many of her clients were children who had suffered birth injuries, which aligned with Alexis’ mission
to ensure justice and fair compensation for those unable to speak for themselves.

In addition to her professional achievements, Alexis enjoys creative pursuits during her leisure time.
Alexis is currently working on her first novel, which is a testament to her multifaceted talents and
diverse interests. Alexis also cherishes moments spent traveling, hiking, and fostering meaningful
connections with loved ones.
